I was an only child growing up and everything seemed perfect until the day my mom got married and we ended up moving. At that time I didn't see life as a struggle, in fact, I was a child, what did I know about struggle right? I didn't have to work, everything was provided for me. However, life changed and I had to grow up. I mean parents are there to take care of us and we just have to obey and study, but then the time comes and you then need to get a job and take up your own responsibilities.
When you have to take care of your own responsibilities that's when reality really hits you. You start experiencing the hard times and the ongoing fluctuations of being an adult and whilst not everyone experiences the really tough times the majority of us do.
Imagine you getting dumped for someone else, losing your job because you're still learning to control your emotions from that break-up or you're just really finding it hard to make ends meet all on your own. That's when you start doubting yourself, wondering and questioning your subconscious mind about everything affecting you. See right then and there is where you begin to create your reality.
I didn't know that what you feed your mind is what becomes your reality and so a part of my years growing up the things I told myself and the things that I believed in, definitely made an impact upon my life to the point whereby all that was surrounding me was the kind of people I kept thinking about, the situations I kept playing over and over in my mind and even though I had an idea that I was the cause of it, I didn't know exactly how.
I bet many of you have heard about the law of attraction, I mean if you look on youtube, you will find tons of videos telling you how this works, also there are I am affirmations and of course the bible. You see the Law of Attraction explains to you that whatever you feed your mind, whatever you speak, whatever you believe, it becomes your reality.
How do you change the way you think, your beliefs, and what you speak? Well, let's say it's not easy but it requires you first to learn. When you begin to learn how this really works, you will understand exactly how much power is involved.
So I started my journey on changing my mindset because, to be honest even though I am a nice person I had a negative mind towards things for myself and I realized that if I want better I got to start with myself. Realizing this I started with I am affirmations during that time I questioned if I did have the power to believe that this will help me and then, I stumbled upon audiobooks that widened my understanding and vision of how I can create a better life for myself.
Now many may feel as though it is impossible or just crazy to believe that anyone can have better than what they already have and the truth is everyone can have better. All you have to do is believe. Train your mind to believe that you deserve better and can have better. Find things that will help you with growing this knowledge. If you hate learning, then that's where you will struggle to gain more, but if you open your mind to the possibilities beyond your comprehension, you will be so surprised at what you can create for yourself.
Let me share a few audiobooks found on youtube that you can listen to, which will help you understand the power you hold within you and once done. keep looking for more to learn to expand your knowledge to control what you think and what you manifest.
Here is the first audiobook, It's called The Wisest Book Ever Written (Law Of Attraction) and then this book will help with thinking more successfully, It's called How Successful People Think written by John C. Maxwell.
